Steven brings over nineteen years of legal experience to the partnership, with a distinguished career representing banking institutions, residential and commercial lenders, national loan servicers, creditors and individuals. His practice primarily focuses on civil litigation, real estate transactions, and estate and probate matters. He currently provides counsel to financial institutions, private equity investors, and individuals across a wide range of litigated and transactional issues.

Steven's experience spans from general motion and trial practice, commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures, receiverships, easements, real property and contract disputes, consumer protection defense, class actions, landlord-tenant matters, through appellate advocacy. He also advises clients on regulatory compliance and complex litigation with potential operational impacts.

Steven earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit- Mercy School of Law in 2005, after receiving his bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Economics from Wayne State University in 2001. Before attending law school, he worked as a financial analyst for a multinational corporation.

He is licensed to practice in the state of Michigan, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the U.S.

Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Steven is also a contributing author to the ICLE Michigan Residential Real Estate Transaction, Second Edition.
