Peter E. Doyle is an experienced commercial litigator who has successfully litigated cases in state and federal courts across the country. His practice areas include contract litigation, commercial real estate disputes, shareholder oppressions, trade secret misappropriation, fraud and financial disputes, and intellectual property matters relating to trademarks and copyrights. Peter also consults with clients on corporate governance, regulatory issues, and employment maters, including non-compete clauses and whistleblower claims. In addition to representing clients at the trial level, Peter has extensive experience in arbitrations and appeals.

Prior to Schenk & Bruetsch, Peter was an associate at Dickinson Wright PLLC, where he managed a diverse caseload of commercial and intellectual property litigation matters. He was named by Best Lawyers in America for Commercial and IP Litigation in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Peter's experience also includes a tenure in the Office of the New York Attorney General's Investor Protection Bureau. He investigated and litigated securities and financial fraud cases against large financial services firms, investment funds, public companies, and senior corporate executives.
Peter earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, graduating cum laude. He received his bachelor’s degree, with honors, from the University of Maryland.
Peter is admitted to practice law in Michigan, New York, and New Jersey.
