Francis Doud is a recent graduate of Wayne State University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor. He previously graduated magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics.
Francis plans to focus on commercial litigation, business law, contract drafting, estate planning, and real property matters. He works with both businesses and individuals, including entrepreneurs starting new ventures and individuals seeking to establish wills and trusts.
Before law school, Francis gained wide-ranging professional experience, working in a wholesale marine supply warehouse, chartering yachts, and at three different law firms. This diverse background gives him a practical perspective and strong problem-solving skills that he brings to client matters.
Originally from Mackinac Island, Francis brings a unique personal background to his legal practice. Outside of the law, he is an avid reader—currently completing a long-term goal of reading a biography on every American president—and plans to travel across all 50 states, beginning with an upcoming road trip through eight states.
