Macomb County agreed to settle a $100 million dollar lawsuit related to the 2016 Fraser Interceptor collapse and sinkhole

In September of 2020, in a story widely covered by local print and digital media, Macomb County agreed to settle a $100 million dollar lawsuit related to the 2016 Fraser Interceptor collapse and sinkhole. Schenk & Bruetsch PLC represented one of the contractors named in the litigation and helped develop such a strong defense claim that the plaintiffs agreed to a settlement within policy limits from the insurance company for only 12 ½ cents on the dollar.
